iPhone firmware 2.2 releases by Apple

Apple released iPhone firmware 2.2 tonight, after many expected they would release the software update tomorrow morning. Containing new features for Google Maps, a revised Safari layout, bug fixes, and other small UI settings updates, the new firmware is pretty hefty at almost 250MB and is available now via iTunes.
