Well it looks like those AT&T employees didn’t know what they were talking about. According to The Boy Genius Report and some reputable sources, October 2nd is the launch date for the BlackBerry Bold on AT&T. We’ll believe it when we see it in official AT&T writing though.

American Airlines launched their in-flight WiFi service today on Boeing 767-200 flights from New York City to San Francisco, Los Angeles, or Miami. Apple, tonight, emailed MobileMe subscribers to offer more relief for the “rocky” start of MobileMe. Recently, Steve Jobs spoke about MobileMe and how it was below Apple’s standards. This 60-day extension for all MobileMe users as of August 19, adds to a 30-day extension Apple gave in July after MobileMe’s weak and shaky launch.
