Possibly being one of the most hyped movies ever to hit the big screen, this past Friday marked the release of The Dark Knight. After snatching up some tickets and seeing the movie, even though almost every showing was, and still is, sold out, it is easy to say that this is one of the best movies out there. Aside from the fact that the movie was amazing, Heath Ledger’s performance as the Joker was phenomenal and showed his incredible talent. And to add the Ledger’s magnificent performance, the gadgets in the movie weren’t too shabby. The Tumbler from the first movie makes its return with some added bonuses, as well as other gadgets that are amazing. The big story, however, is that like most suspected: The Dark Knight surpassed Spider Man 3’s $151 million and now holds the the opening weekend record at $155.3 million.
