App Store to go live tomorrow

Forbes has heard from three people briefed on the matter that Apple will launch the App Store tomorrow at 9 am PT, coinciding with the launch of iPhone 3G in New Zealand. If they release iTunes 7.7 before or around that time, that technically means that we could start downloading apps before we get iPhone [...]

MobileMe launch/.Mac going offline delayed until 8 pm

Apple has updated the .Mac service status to show that they have delayed .Mac’s death from 6 pm to 8 pm. Going hand-in-hand, Apple has also delayed the launch of MobileMe from 6 pm - 12 am to 8 pm - 2 am.
