Flip Mino official, $180, available June 5th
After being leaked from a store catalog, Pure Digital has officially announced the new, top-of-the-line member of the Flip family - the Flip Mino. With similar specs to the current Flip Ultra, the new model is 40% smaller than the Ultra at only 4 inches by 2 inches by .6 inches and weighs only 3.3 ounces. The Mino also has 2GB of storage space, capable of recording around one hour of footage. Along with the small redesign, the Mino uses touch-sensitive buttons to control its 1.5 inch, anti-glare screen. And this newer model Flip uses a rechargeable battery, and not the AA batteries that the old model was known for. Of course, the Mino uses the same easy-to-use software with easy uploading to YouTube and other video-sharing sites. Be prepared to shell out $180 for the Mino, out June 5th (but available from Pure Digital now) in black and white.
UPDATE - After doing some digging online, some online retailers like Amazon and Best Buy (backordered) have already started selling the Mino.
