3G iPhone to be announced at WWDC, released June 13

Yes, everyone’s been saying that the 3G iPhone will be announced at WWDC on June 9 during Steve Jobs keynote, and everyone is right. From very high authority, I hear that the new iPhone will be announced during Jobs’ keynote, and will then be released to the public on June 13. Also, it will be slightly THICKER, but slightly wider. And the screen will not be OLED, as some have suggested. Again, this is from a credible source that the 3G iPhone will be released at WWDC and out on June 13. Obviously, all will be revealed when Steve Jobs actually releases it, but unless Jobs and Co. switch it up the day of WWDC, the 13th is the date the 3G iPhone will be in stores.

Also, the photo used is courtesy of the latest beta of the iPhone SDK and was featured as an icon in one of the packages. Get ready everybody, because second-gen iPhone is coming.

*EDIT* For all of you that thought this picture was legit, it is not.  It is just a rumor that this picture is the real thing.
