Yes, its true. Technology reporter Walt Mossberg said at a summit recently, very confidently may I add, that the 3G iPhone will be released in the next 60 days. Not really a shock, but coming from Walt Mossberg it is something of a slight confirmation. Again, all reports show that the new iPhone is coming. The confirmation from AT&T’s CEO about 3G coming in “months,” the recent supply shortages, and T-Mobile Germany’s cutting iPhone prices with certain plans. Even digg founder Kevin Rose ‘heard’ that it would be coming soon, with a video camera on the front, too. So 3G iPhone is coming, lets just hope it comes soon.

UPDATE - Walt Mossberg has clarified that he did not mean to sound as if he knew something the public did not when he said “60 days.” He apparently was only basing that information on the same information that we had seen before it. Or maybe, just maybe, Steve Jobs sent a group of his secret ninjas to get him to shut his mouth. Who knows, but I’m thinking the latter.
