iPhone Dev Team releases PwnageTool

The iPhone Dev Team released the PwnageTool this morning. The tool allows iPhones to be “pwned,” meaning that the devices will be able to run custom firmwares that are pre-unlocked, pre-activated, and pre-jailbroken. The PwnageTool works with any regular and custom firmware (including the beta 1.2 or 2.0 firmwares.) The 2.0 beta firmware is very spotty, however, and it is not recommended that you use 2.0, 1.2 however is much safer.
