iPhone 2.0 beta gallery

Engadget posted a great gallery of the iPhone 2.0 beta software today with pictures showing new features like multi-message deleting in Mail, a new scientific mode in Calculator when you turn the device sideways,  the parental controls features, and more. Contact search is not in the software, and the App Store is just there for show. The software is still beta of course and won’t be available until June, but certain developers have been granted access to the iPhone Developer Program and Apple says the number of people they let in will keep growing.

  1. Nice! I was expecting the scientific calculator, but that is a very welcome addition. The parental controls are there simply to get more teenagers to convince their parents to buy iPhones for them. Once you have open access to the web, there is little you can do about the media that is at your disposal.

I am eager to what applications are let on the phone, and which are denied access. Will they permit skype? Amazon mp3 store client? etc.
