Hulu out of private beta, launches with TV and Movies

hululaunch.jpgHulu, originally NBC and Fox’s attempt at free ad-supported TV shows, is now a fully fledged website (out of private beta.) I’ve been a Hulu user throughout the private beta period, and it’s really easy to use. The server is really quick and the videos usually don’t take time to buffer. One of the cool new additions to Hulu since its out of private beta, is that they’ve added movies into the mix. There are only around 60 movies, and not all of them are full films, but its still a nice feature. It also gives you the option to watch them in Hi-Res 480p. Another interesting thing is that the site has changed from only two networks, NBC and Fox, and now it has Universal, MGM, Sony Pictures TV, Warner Bros, USA, Lionsgate and more. So, in my opinion, give Hulu a shot. It’s definitely an easy way to watch free TV shows and movies, and it could be a major competitor to iTunes if more networks join in on the fun.
