More hints of a Spotlight.app for iPhone Found!

picture-41.jpg

Well, I was looking through the files in AspenSimulator (part of the iPhone SDK), and I found out some very cool information. The file I was under was

/Developer/Platforms/AspenSimulator.platfrom/Developer/SDKs/

AspenSimulator1.2.sdk/System/Library/CoreServices/Springboard.app

I right clicked Springboard.app and hit “Show Package Contents” and I was looking through the files to see if anything was new. I used FixPngDroplet to convert all of the .png images so I would be able to view them.

Anyways, I found two new pictures, spotlight-full.png and spotlight-keyboard.png. Combined with my other post of the spotlight image found on the contacts application, this leads to some very good news for a search capability for the iPhone.

  1. What’s that TVOutPlaylist thing about?

  2. Well, first of all, .plist doesn’t stand for playlist, it stands for “Property List.” I looked through it, and it is just a basic settings file for the tv out feature on the iPhone/iPod Touch.

  3. what do the icons look like

can you post them somehow (even off colored)
