More details on SDK, Enterprise, etc

At Apple’s event on the SDK today, they gave us tons of insight on how things are going to work for the SDK and for Enterprise.
The way the SDK will work is pretty simple, you can download the actual SDK for free, but you pay $99 a year to distribute and publish the applications you make. Once you pay that, Apple won’t charge anything for hosting and such things, but they do take 30% of revenues, unless your app is free. There’s also the Enterprise Program for the SDK which is $299 and is “for developers who are creating proprietary, in-house applications for iPhone and iPod touch.”
Enterprise support will work pretty simply as well. IT Departments will be able to apply now to get a pre-release of the software early. The Enterprise features include push email, push contacts, push calendar, Global Address List, remote wipe to completely erase the phone if it gets lost with sensitive information on it, and more VPN protocols.
