Confirmed by Apple, March 6th is the date of the next Apple event. The SDK seems like the biggest thing on the list for the event, but with things like “Enterprise” and “Software Update” on the roadmap event invitation it seems that more things will be announced. The event will be at Town Hall and will feature tons of surprises and new related to the SDK. Apple COO Tim Cook said this after been asked when we’ll see the first third-party app, “We’re going to go into some more details at the event next week. I don’t want to take away the element of surprise.” Tune in near 10:00 am PST next Thursday for more details.

  1. Hi ,
Whats this SDK all about ? you havnt explained this … may i have more discussion on this .

  2. The SDK is the software development kit. What it does is allow developers to create applications for iPhone and iPod touch. So third-party companies can create applications that you can get for your iPhone or iPod touch.
