Apple updates MacBook and MacBook Pro

Apple finally updated the MacBook and MacBook Pro today, giving both machines a faster CPU, and giving the Pro Multi-Touch. Both models feature Penryn processors, the MacBook Pro with a standard 2.4Ghz (up to 2.6Ghz) and the MacBook with a 2.1Ghz standard up to 2.4Ghz. Both the MacBook and the Pro received hard drive increases with the MacBook from 120GB up to 250GB and the Pro from 200GB to 250GB. All the Pro models come standard with 2GB of RAM, and the MacBook comes with 1GB on the base model, but 2GB on the higher models. The MacBook starts at just $1099, and the MacBook Pro at $1999.
