MacBook Air officially shipping out

Well since everything sounds better when Apple tells you, Apple issued a press release today announcing that the new thin MacBook Air is officially shipping even though some had already received shipping notifications the other day. The laptop still has a 2-3 week wait, however, and rumors are that the Solid State Drive takes a bit longer to ship.
