The iPhone can be purchased from the Apple Stores (online and retail) and AT&T retail stores, but can now be purchased from AT&T directly online. The process stays the same with activation and setup through iTunes, so you still won’t be selecting plans and services from the AT&T website. Also, AT&T has put a 1 iPhone per person sales limit, as well as having to purchase iPhone separately than others phones (meaning you can’t put an iPhone in your cart and then put a Blackberry Curve in the same cart). AT&T sells most iPhone accessories too, so you don’t have to worry about having to purchase those items from another place.
